Busted out the acoustic rap for the ending credits of a documentary being done by a DJ in Tucson about 90’s rap.
Recording this was pretty glamourous. I was crammed in our bedroom while lil Jack was napping, making sure I didnt wrinkle Marisa’s new bed comforter that she won’t let me even sit on let alone pile all my recording stuff on top of. There was a baby crying upstairs, so I had to make sure to do takes in between screams. We had just gotten back from Baby’s-R-Us and lunch at the Olive Garden, so I was a bit full, but managed to still bust out a few takes.
So gangsta…
Videos like these make me want to cash out my Citibank Roth IRA early, (after federal and state taxes of course), hop in my 2004 Honda Accord LX, drive out to the Target (or Sams Club) parking lot, and neatly place my money on the ground while my wife records me with a Flipcam we got for Christmas.
Pretty chill. Gonna have to get one of these for the next one.
