Commitment

There’s a HUGE difference between saying you’re going to do something some day, and actually doing it. Ideas are easy, they come and go; but to sit down and get to work, that’s the hard part.

That’s not the hardest part though…

The hardest part is continuing to move forward and work when you don’t feel like it, when you’re mad, when you’re sad, when you’re tired, when you’re frustrated.

The best part is when you plan, do the plan, check the plan, adjust the plan, design, refine, delete, rethink, dream, inspire, work, work, work, work, then work some more, then work more, then stay up till 2am writing blog posts about it, then work some more, the wake up, work more, push through issues, read, learn, research, negotiate, solve problems, create, engage, initiate, communicate, love, yell, make-up, spend all your savings, earn it back, risk something, then risk something again, eat pasta 6 different ways, always set the pace, and just……..freakin……..do…..what……you…..said…..you…..were…..going…..to….do.

Commitment is following through on decision long after the emotion of when the decision was made.
